Eight miles of queuing traffic on A30 after two-vehicle crash

Traffic is backed up for eight miles on the A30 eastbound following a two-vehicle crash near Cheriton Bishop in Devon.

Occupants of the vehicles have suffered minor injuries and police are on the scene of the accident, which happened at just before 11.15am.

One lane is closed with slow traffic traffic due to the accident on the A30 from A382 (Whiddon Down, Whiddon Down) to A30 (Woodleigh Junction, Cheriton Bishop). It’s affecting traffic into Exeter.

A police spokesperson said: Traffic is backed up and the lane is blocked. Officers are still on the scene.”
