A party broke out in the middle of the M5 with singing and dancing after a fuel spill closed the motorway in a thunderstorm on Wednesday (August 12) evening.
Motorists trapped in their cars in long queues decided to throw an impromptu party. One woman wowed other travellers who filmed her singing a brilliant version of an appropriate hit, It’s Raining Men by The Weather Girls.
Amid a thunderous backdrop with dark ominous clouds and lightning in the distance, people played music from their cars and tried to enjoy themselves near Junction 18 at Avonmouth as all three lanes closed to traffic near Bristol last night.
In videos posted online, travellers can be seen dancing on the closed carriageway.

Somerset Live reported Highways England shut the southbound carriageway at around 8pm after a lorry spilt fuel across the road.
The incident happened between junction 18 for Avonmouth and junction 19 for Portishead.
The large diesel spillage is believed to have happened after a lorry broke down.
Firefighters and police were also sent to the scene as the road was closed until 1.30am on Thursday (August 13)..
