Motorcyclists turn out to bid farewell to respected Exeter biker

Motorcyclists turned out in their droves to say goodbye to one of their own at the funeral of respected biker and father Paul Vosper.

Mourners gathered outside the Exeter & Devon Crematorium on Topsham Road to pay their respects to the 64-year-old, who died on March 29 this year.

A biker for years, Paul was born and grew up in Cheriton Fitzpaine before moving to Exeter in his early 20s. One person who knew him described him as a ‘very good citizen’ and ‘respected’.

He passed away on March 29 this year at the Royal Devon & Exeter Hospital.

Scores of motorcycles turned up to mark the occasion, while his coffin was towed on a trailer by a trike.

A note written by Dayna, his daughter, said: “We would like to say a massive thank you to everyone who attended to celebrate the life and say goodbye to Dad.

“We were overwhelmed and so grateful that so many of his friends were able to ride with him on his final ride.

“Dad was a very special man who was loved and respected by so many people. He lived his life to the full and will be missed so much every day.
