Emergency services are at the scene near to the junction of Hyde Road and Victoria Street, near the steam railway.

Victoria Street is blocked southbound to Church Street, causing some tailbacks in the centre of Paignton.

Police say a silver Citroen was in collision with two people – one male and one female – both of whom went “over the bonnet” of the car.
